Rugby Club Fireworks

As many will be aware this Friday 4th November is the fireworks at the Rugby Club. Following last year’s event, various changes have been made which were discussed and highlighted in our last committee meeting, Minutes from the meeting here.

Following our meeting, the Rugby Club has shared their Event Management Plan and intentions for Entry and Exit during the event with us.

The Rugby Club and the Beckets Grove Phase 2 Residents Association would like to highlight the following points…

• • The event is ticket only, these need to be booked in advance
  • Car parking is also ticketed with limited numbers
  • Where ever possible please walk to the event
  • Request for no parking on the residential estate roads
  • From 5pm to 8.15pm there will be a one-way system promoted with entry on Reeve way and exit on Jeckyll Road
  • Could residents please keep the roads and verges clear of their vehicles
  • Cones will be placed on the main route in on Friday morning
  • Please do not move the cones from the road until they are removed on Saturday morning
  • Traffic Marshals and Security will be active on the site from 5pm
  • If you have verges or grassed areas you would like to protect please do so by your own means
  • On exit all traffic will be directed left out of Albini Way to the roundabout
